(A) INTRODUCTION

1. Companies/registered businesses holding valid Textiles Trader Registration (TTR) or Factory Registration can login their User Login Accounts (ULA) in the website of the Trade and Industry Department (www.tid.gov.hk) to use online enquiry service, e-mail notification service and other related services.
  • Textiles Trader Registration (TTR)
Textiles Trader Registration Scheme (TTRS) is a voluntary registration scheme. Companies with valid Business Registration in Hong Kong which are carrying on business in the manner as set out in Schedule 4 to the Import and Export (General) Regulations (Chapter 60, subsidiary legislation A), i.e., importing textiles from the Mainland of China or exporting textiles to the Mainland of China or the USA, can apply for registration under the TTRS.
  • Factory Registration (FR)
FR is a pre-requisite for manufacturers to apply for Certificates of Origin, Certificates of Origin-Processing, or to participate in the Local Subcontracting Arrangement and Outward Processing Arrangement in respect of the products registered.
2. Eligible traders must activate their ULAs by following the Activation Procedures given in Section (E) below.
3. Upon activation of the ULAs, ULA holders can make enquiry on or use the information and services related to its TTR and/or FR.
4. Each business entity can have one ULA only. Its use is exclusively at the discretion of the management of the company/registered business, i.e. the ULA holder. Upon activating and using the ULA, each ULA holder is agreeing to abide by the Terms and Conditions of Use as stipulated by the Department (see Section (B)).
