| Any textiles trader, be he an importer, exporter, manufacturer, carrier or forwarder. |

| Registered textiles traders could, during the validity period of their registration and under certain situations, submit notifications instead of licences. |

| How can one apply for registration under TTRS? |
| |
| The application form is obtainable from the Customer Service Centre and Central Registration Office at 2/F, Trade and Industry Department Tower, 700 Nathan Road, Mongkok, Kowloon. |

How long is a registration valid for? |
| |
| Registration is valid for 12 months and is renewable. |
| |

| Where can one buy the notification forms after registration? |
| |
| The notification forms are available for sale at Room 104, 1/F., Trade and Industry Department Tower. Registered textiles traders must present the original or a certified true copy of a valid Certificate of Registration as a Textiles Trader when making purchase of the forms. |

| When and where should one submit the notifications? |
| |
|
For shipment by air/sea : Completed notifications should be given to carriers when or before the textiles are imported and before exportation.
Carriers should submit the notification to Trade and Industry Department together with the relevant manifests within 14 days from the shipment date.
For shipment by road: Completed notifications should be given to driver before importation/exportation who should submit them, with relevant manifests to officers of Customs and Excise Department at border control points at the time of importation/exportation. |
