Payment Procedures

Payment of Fee for Application Lodged by Hand

  1. Please ensure that the name and registration number of the applicant in the upper portion and lower portion of the fee demand letter are properly filled in.
  2. Present the demand letter to the Shroff and Form Sales Office of the Trade and Industry Department (Room 1309, 13/F, Trade and Industry Tower, 3 Concorde Road, Kowloon City, Hong Kong) for making payment. The fee may be paid by cheque, in cash, through the Easy Pay System (EPS) or Faster Payment System (FPS).
  3. After payment, the Shroff and Form Sales Office will imprint a payment franking on the upper portion of the demand letter and the upper portion will be returned to the applicant for lodgement of the application. A payment receipt will also be issued to the applicant for retention.
  4. Applicant to lodge the upper portion of the demand letter imprinted with payment franking, the duly completed application form/renewal application form and the required supporting document(s) to the Rough Diamonds and Ozone Depleting Substances Licensing Unit of the Department (Room 1604, 16/F, Trade and Industry Tower) for processing.

Payment of Fee for Application Lodged by Mail

  1. Please ensure that the name and registration number of the applicant in the upper portion and lower portion of the fee demand letter are properly filled in.
  2. Mail to the Rough Diamonds and Ozone Depleting Substances Licensing Unit of the Department (Room 1604, 16/F, Trade and Industry Tower, 3 Concorde Road, Kowloon City, Hong Kong) the duly completed application form/renewal form, the required supporting document(s), the demand letter with the required information filled in and a crossed cheque of the requisite fee payable to "The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region".
  3. The Department will process the application upon receiving the above documents. A payment receipt will be mailed to the address provided for the registration after processing.

Payment of Fee for Application Lodged by Electronic Submission

  1. Please send the duly completed application form/renewal form, the required supporting document(s), and an e-Cheque of the requisite fee payable to "The Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region" to the Rough Diamonds and Ozone Depleting Substances Licensing Unit of the Department via electronic submission.
  2. The Department will process the application upon receiving the above documents. A payment receipt will be mailed to the address provided for the registration after processing.
  3. If e-Cheque is not provided in the electronic submission, a notification containing information for online payment by credit card will be sent to the email address registered with the Department after the application is pre-vetted.
