United Kingdom (UK) : Making imports of certain excavators originating in the Mainland of China subject to registration
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 833/2023 of 16 November 2023, the UK Government published Trade Remedies Notice 2024/01 on 6 March 2024 to make imports of certain excavators originating in the Mainland of China currently under the anti-dumping and anti-subsidy investigations subject to registration. 2.The product concerned is self-propelled track-laying (i.e. tracked) excavators with a 360° revolving superstructure and with an operating weight of 11,000 kg (i.e. 11 tonnes) or more, currently falling under UK Global Tariff commodity code 8429521000.
3.The registration of the product concerned applies from 7 March 2024. For further details, please refer to the above Trade Remedies Notice.
4.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
