European Union (EU)* : Amendment to Implementing Regulation imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 916/2022 of 18 November 2022, the European Commission published an Implementing Regulation (EU) 2023/2202 on 17 October 2023 to amend the Implementing Regulation (EU) 2019/1259 imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China with a clarification of the scope of the existing anti-dumping measures. 2.Following the partial interim review, the product subject to the anti-dumping duty is threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron, currently falling under CN code ex 7307 19 10 (TARIC code 7307 19 10 10 and 7307 19 10 20) and originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China, with the following products excluded: bodies of compression fittings using ISO DIN 13 metric thread; malleable iron threaded circular junction boxes without having a lid; ductile iron clamp tees with rubber sealing and an outlet hole; ductile iron grooved end caps for use on grooved steel pipe with a threaded outlet; ductile iron grooved reducers with threaded end; ductile iron grooved reducing tees with a threaded outlet; ductile iron blanking saddles without threaded outlets used to seal a hole in a tube or pipe.

3.For goods not covered by the existing anti-dumping measures as amended by this Regulation, the definitive anti-dumping duties paid or entered into account pursuant to Article 1(1) of Implementing Regulation (EU) No 430/2013 and the provisional anti-dumping duties definitively collected pursuant to Article 2 of the same Regulation shall be repaid or remitted in accordance with the applicable customs legislation. Repayment and remission shall be requested from national customs authorities. This Regulation shall enter into force on 18 October 2023 and apply from 15 May 2013.
