Commercial Information Circular No. 916/2022

European Union (EU)* : Initiation of a partial interim review of the anti-dumping measures on imports of threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 581/2019 of 2 August 2019, the European Commission published a notice 2022/C 438/07 on 18 November 2022 initiating a partial interim review of the anti-dumping measures on imports of threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China. 2.The product under review is threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron, excluding bodies of compression fittings using ISO DIN 13 metric thread and malleable iron threaded circular junction boxes without having a lid, currently falling under CN codes ex 7307 19 10 (TARIC codes 7307 19 10 10 and 7307 19 10 20) originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China.

3.All interested parties may make their views known, submit information and provide supporting evidence regarding the appropriateness of reviewing the scope of the measures within 37 days from 18 November 2022, unless otherwise specified. They may request to be heard by the Commission investigation services. A request for hearing with or intervention of the Hearing Officer, who reports directly to the Commissioner for Trade of the EU, may also be made. Hearing requests should be made in writing, specifying the reasons for the request, at the earliest possible time.

4.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
