Commercial Information Circular No. 581/2019
European Union (EU)* : Results of expiry review of anti-dumping measures on threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 446/2018 of 9 May 2018, the European Commission has published an implementing regulation to maintain the definitive anti‑dumping duty imposed on imports of threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China following the expiry review. 2.Salient points of the regulation are set out below –
| (a) Product | : | Threaded tube or pipe cast fittings, of malleable cast iron and spheroidal graphite cast iron, excluding bodies of compression fittings using ISO DIN 13 metric thread and malleable iron threaded circular junction boxes without having a lid, currently falling under CN codes ex 7307 19 10 and ex 7307 19 90 (TARIC codes 7307 19 10 10 and 7307 19 90 10) |
| (b) Rate of Duty | : | 57.8% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, before duty (except for a number of companies with individual duty rates from 24.6% to 57.8%) |
| (c) Effective Date | : | 26 July 2019 |
| (d) Duration | : | 5 years |
