Commercial Information Circular No. 946/2022

European Union (EU)* : Initiation of a review of the definitive safeguard measure applicable to imports of certain steel products

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 516/2022 of 28 June 2022, the European Commission published a notice 2022/C 459/06 on 2 December 2022 initiating a review of the definitive safeguard measure applicable to imports of certain steel products. 2.All interested parties may make their views known, submit information and provide supporting evidence by 13 January 2023. A request for an intervention of the Hearing Officer, who reports directly to the Commissioner for Trade of the EU, may be made in writing, specifying the reasons for the request. The review will be concluded by 30 June 2023.

3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
