Commercial Information Circular No. 908/2022
European Union (EU)* : Imposition of a definitive anti-dumping duty and definitively collecting the provisional duty on imports of electrolytic chromium coated steel (ECCS) products originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 408/2022 of 24 May 2022, the European Commission published an Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/2247 on 16 November 2022 to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty and definitively collect the provisional duty on imports of ECCS products originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China. 2.Salient points of the regulation are set out below -
| (a) Product | : | Flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, plated or coated with chromium oxides or with chromium and chromium oxides, also designated as ECCS products, currently falling under CN codes 7210 50 00 and 7212 50 20, originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China |
| (b) Rate of duty | : | EUR 607.98 per tonne (except for a number of companies with individual duty rates from EUR 239.82 to EUR 428.37 per tonne) |
| (c) Effective date | : | 17 November 2022 |
3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
