Commercial Information Circular No. 275/2021
Turkey : Initiation of expiry review of anti-dumping measures on imports of tempered glass lids originating in, inter alia, Hong Kong
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 468/2016 of 2 June 2016, the Ministry of Trade of Turkey (the Ministry) has announced the initiation of an expiry review of the anti-dumping measures imposed on imports of tempered glass lids originating in, inter alia, Hong Kong. The Gazette Communiqué No. 2021/21 (in Turkish) is available at: https://www.resmigazete.gov.tr/eskiler/2021/04/20210416-11.htm.
2.Salient points of the Communiqué are set out below -

| (b) Products | : | Lids/covers made of tempered (heat-resistant) glass for pots, pans and teapots, classified under CTSP (Customs Tariff Statistics Position) 7010.20.00.00.00 in the Turkish Customs Tariff Schedule |
| (c) Procedures | : | Exporters / producers of the products have the right to make an application within 37 days to become a party to the investigation by completing a questionnaire, which is downloadable at: https://www.ticaret.gov.tr/ithalat/ticaret-politikasi-savunma-araclari/damping-ve-subvansiyon/sorusturmalar/nggs-teblig-no2021-21-yalnizca-camdan-tencere-tava-ve-caydanlik-kapaklari Completed questionnaire must be returned with any other relevant information to the Turkish authority within 37 days from the date of issue of the Gazette Communiqué by both email and mail: Ministry of Trade Directorate General of Imports Department of Dumping and Subsidy Söğütözü Mahallesi 2176 Cad. 3.By way of background, definitive anti-dumping duty on tempered glass lids originating in, inter alia, Hong Kong has been imposed since 23 May 2010. During the review, the current rate of duty US$0.91/kg continues to apply.
