European Union (EU)* : Impending expiry of anti-dumping measures on sodium cyclamate originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 13/2017 of 5 January 2017, the European Commission published a notice 2020/C 344/16 on 16 October 2020 concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of sodium cyclamate originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China. The notice is available at:

2.The product concerned is sodium cyclamate, currently falling within CN code ex 2929 90 00 (TARIC code 2929 90 00 10). Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire at midnight of 17 July 2021.

3.Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the product originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China has been imposed since 17 July 2016. The current rate of anti-dumping duty is EUR 0.26 per kilogramme (except for two companies whose individual duty rate is EUR 0.23 per kilogramme).
