Commercial Information Circular No. 633/2018

European Union (EU)* : Amendments to notice of initiation of safeguard investigation concerning steel products

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 329/2018 of 6 April 2018 concerning the initiation of a safeguard investigation on imports of steel products, the European Commission (the Commission) has published a notice to include two additional product categories in the investigation and to clarify certain product categories and CN codes.  The notice is available at https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:52018XC0628(02)&from=EN.

2.All interested parties, including exporting producers and their associations of the two product categories, are invited to make known their views, submit information and to provide supporting evidence. Comments as to the inclusion of the two product categories in the safeguard investigation should reach the Commission within 7 days from 28 June 2018. Other comments should be submitted within 21 days from 28 June 2018. Interested parties may make themselves known and request a questionnaire by contacting the Commission within 15 days from 28 June 2018.
