Basic Law Slogan Competition invites entries

The following is issued on behalf of the Working Group on Industrial, Commercial and Professional Sectors under the Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee:

The Basic Law Slogan Competition for the industrial, commercial and professional sectors is now open for entries. Organisations and companies are welcome to join. The closing date is September 30, 2008. 

The winner, the first runner-up and the second runner-up in the competition will be awarded a cash prize of $5,000, $3,000 and $1,000 respectively. A number of merit prizes will also be awarded. In addition, the winning slogans will be displayed on related promotional materials.

The content of the slogans should be about the relationship between the Basic Law and the industrial, commercial and professional sectors, or Basic Law articles relating to those sectors.

This Basic Law Slogan Competition is organised by the Working Group on Industrial, Commercial and Professional Sectors under the Basic Law Promotion Steering Committee. Its purpose is to enhance understanding of and interest in the Basic Law.
