Commercial Information Circular No. 854/2026
European Union (EU)* : Making imports of solid glass microspheres originating in Chinese Mainland subject to registration
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 632/2026 of 17 July 2026, the European Commission published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2026/2162 on 30 September 2026 to make imports of solid glass microspheres originating in Chinese Mainland currently under the anti-dumping investigation subject to registration. 2.The product concerned is solid glass microspheres (commercially known as ‘glass beads’) not exceeding 2 mm in diameter, with surface either coated or uncoated, irrespective of the intended use or production process, currently falling within CN codes ex 7002 10 00, ex 7018 10 90, ex 7018 20 00 and ex 7018 90 90 (TARIC codes 7002 10 00 20, 7018 10 90 10, 7018 20 00 10 and 7018 90 90 10).
3.The Implementing Regulation will enter into force on 1 October 2026. For further details, please refer to the above Implementing Regulation.
4.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to trade remedy investigations against products from the province.
