European Union (EU)* : Initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding on imports of solid glass microspheres originating in Chinese Mainland
The European Commission published notice C/2026/3713 on 16 July 2026 announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of solid glass microspheres originating in Chinese Mainland. 2.The product under investigation is solid glass microspheres (commercially known as ‘glass beads’) not exceeding 2 mm in diameter, with surface either coated or uncoated, irrespective of the intended use or production process, currently falling within CN codes ex 7018 10 90, ex 7018 20 00 and ex 7018 90 90. ‘Glass beads’ that have the form of small pierced balls, currently falling within CN codes 7018 10 11 and 7018 10 19 are excluded from the investigation.
3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
