Dear Sirs,
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 884/2024 of 25 October 2024, the European Commission published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/78 on 15 January 2025 to impose a provisional anti-dumping duty on imports of multilayered wood flooring originating in the Mainland of China. 2.Salient points of the Regulation are set out below -
| (a) Product | : | Assembled flooring panels, multilayer, of wood, currently falling under CN code 4418 75 00. Panels of bamboo or with at least the top layer (wear layer) of bamboo, and panels for mosaic floors are excluded. |
| (b) Rate of duty | : | 49.2% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for a number of companies with individual duty rates from 42.3% to 46.7%) |
| (c) Effective date | : | 16 January 2025 (the duty will apply for six months) |
| (d) Collection of duty | : | The release for free circulation in the EU of the product shall be subject to the provision of a security deposit equivalent to the amount of the provisional duty. |

The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
