Dear Sirs,
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 828/2024 of 14 October 2024, the European Commission published Implementing Regulation (EU) 2025/501 on 19 March 2025 to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty and definitively collect the provisional duty on imports of glass fibre yarns originating in the Mainland of China. 2.Salient points of the Regulation are set out below -
| (a) Product | : | Glass fibre yarns, whether or not twisted, excluding glass fibre slivers, glass fibre cords and chopped strands currently falling under CN codes ex 7019 13 00 and ex 7019 19 00 (TARIC codes 7019 13 00 10, 7019 13 00 15, 7019 13 00 20, 7019 13 00 25, 7019 13 00 30, 7019 13 00 50, 7019 13 00 87, 7019 13 00 94, 7019 19 00 30, 7019 19 00 85) |
| (b) Rate of duty | : | 56.1% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for one company with individual duty rate 26.3%) |
| (c) Effective date | : | 20 March 2025 |
| (d) Collection of duty | : | The amounts secured by way of the provisional anti-dumping duty under Implementing Regulation (EU) 2024/2673 shall be definitively collected. |

The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
