Dear Sirs,
Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 707/2021 of 11 October 2021, the European Commission published an Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/1178 on 8 July 2022 not prolonging the suspension of the definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of aluminium flat-rolled products originating in the Mainland of China. 2.Salient points of the decision are set out below -
(a) Product | : | Aluminium products, flat rolled, whether or not alloyed, whether or not further worked than flat rolled, not backed, without internal layers of other material,

(b) Rate of duty | : | 24.6% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for a number of companies with individual duty rates from 14.3% to 21.4%) |
(c) Effective date | : | Reinstated as of 12 July 2022 (suspension from 12 October 2021 not further prolonged) |
3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact GONG Zhihong, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 6201. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
