Dear Sirs,

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 707/2021 of 11 October 2021, the European Commission published an Implementing Decision (EU) 2022/1178 on 8 July 2022 not prolonging the suspension of the definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of aluminium flat-rolled products originating in the Mainland of China. The Implementing Decision is available at:

2.Salient points of the decision are set out below -

(a) Product	:	Aluminium products, flat rolled, whether or not alloyed, whether or not further worked than flat rolled, not backed, without internal layers of other material, in coils or in coiled strips, in cut-to-length sheets, or in the form of circles; of a thickness of 0.2 mm or more but not more than 6 mm, in plates, of a thickness of more than 6 mm, in coils or in coiled strips, of a thickness of not less than 0.03 mm but less than 0.2 mm currently falling under CN codes ex 7606 11 10 (TARIC codes 7606 11 10 25, 7606 11 10 86), ex 7606 11 91 (TARIC codes 7606 11 91 25, 7606 11 91 86), ex 7606 11 93 (TARIC codes 7606 11 93 25, 7606 11 93 86), ex 7606 11 99 (TARIC codes 7606 11 99 25, 7606 11 99 86), ex 7606 12 20 (TARIC codes 7606 12 20 25, 7606 12 20 88), ex 7606 12 92 (TARIC codes 7606 12 92 25, 7606 12 92 93), ex 7606 12 93 (TARIC code 7606 12 93 86), ex 7606 12 99 (TARIC codes 7606 12 99 25 and 7606 12 99 86), ex 7606 91 00 (TARIC codes 7606 91 00 25, 7606 91 00 86), ex 7606 92 00 (TARIC codes 7606 92 00 25, 7606 92 00 92), ex 7607 11 90 (TARIC codes 7607 11 90 48, 7607 11 90 51, 7607 11 90 53, 7607 11 90 65, 7607 11 90 73, 7607 11 90 75, 7607 11 90 77, 7607 11 90 91, 7607 11 90 93) and ex 7607 19 90 (TARIC codes 7607 19 90 75, 7607 19 90 94).
(b) Rate of duty	:	24.6% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for a number of companies with individual duty rates from 14.3% to 21.4%)
(c) Effective date	:	Reinstated as of 12 July 2022 (suspension from 12 October 2021 not further prolonged)
