Goods of Hong Kong origin for exportation to New Zealand are eligible for preferential tariff treatment1 under the Hong Kong, China - New Zealand Closer Economic Partnership Agreement (CEP Agreement). For the purpose of claiming preferential tariff treatment for a good falling under Chapter 61 or 622 of the Harmonized System (HS), a valid Certificate of Hong Kong Origin - New Zealand (CO(NZ)) issued by the Trade and Industry Department or one of the Government Approved Certification Organizations (GACOs)3 is required.
