The Trade and Industry Department (TID) is committed to providing traders with efficient, courteous and high quality services. With a view to further improving its services, three Customer Liaison Groups are in place to serve as an additional channel of communication between TID and its customers. The Groups focus on improvements in the delivery of service and do not involve itself with policy issues. They are non-statutory bodies and function as liaison groups rather than formal advisory bodies.
The three Customer Liaison Groups are Customer Liaison Group for Strategic Commodities, Customer Liaison Group for SMEs and the Customer Liaison Group for Rice respectively.
