Commercial Information Circular No. 299/2011

The Mainland of China : Notice Concerning "Work Plan on Optimization, Upgrade and Relocation to Specialized Environmental Protection Bases of Highly Polluting Industries Including Electroplating, Printing and Dyeing, etc. of Dongguan Environmental Protection Bureau"

The Dongguan Environmental Protection Bureau issued on 9 May 2011 a notice to announce the Work Plan on Optimization, Upgrade and Relocation to Specialized Environmental Protection Bases of Highly Polluting Industries Including Electroplating, Printing and Dyeing, etc., which stipulates that by the end-2012, enterprises in highly polluting industries including electroplating, printing and dyeing., etc. which fail to fulfill the requirements for remaining in the same location have to relocate to specialized environmental protection bases or to close down. A copy of the notice and its Annex is attached as Appendix (pdf format) for reference.
