Urban Planning

• For details about Hong Kong professionals with the Mainland's qualification of Urban Planners registering for practice in Guangdong Province, please refer to the "Trial Administrative Measures on the Registration and Practice in Guangdong Province for Hong Kong residents, who have obtained Mainland's registered Urban Planner qualification" (Circular of the Department of Construction of Guangdong Province No. 110 - Dec 2008) (in Chinese only).
• Hong Kong Registered Professional Planners that meet the record filing requirements to practise may provide professional planning services in Guangdong Province after record filing. For details, please refer to "Notice of the Department of Natural Resources of Guangdong Province on Matters Concerning the Record Filing of Hong Kong and Macao Registered Urban Planning Professionals to Practise in Guangdong Province" (Feb 2021) (in Chinese only); Hong Kong urban planning enterprises that meet the record filing requirements to practise may provide professional planning services in Guangdong Province after record filing. • Foreign-funded enterprises may apply for the Qualification Certificate for Entities Preparing Urban and Rural Plans and undertake the work of preparing urban and rural plans other than the overall planning of cities and towns within the scope permitted by their corresponding qualification levels. Landscape Architectural Services

• The Mainland has cancelled the qualification approval for urban greening enterprises.
