Rough Diamond Trader Registration Circular No. 1/2009

Control on Rough Diamonds in Hong Kong

Further to our circular of 8 August 2008 on the above subject, this is to inform the trade that the following country or place has been added to the list of specified countries or places for which the certification scheme for rough diamonds in Hong Kong is effective or as permitted by the Kimberley Process (the List) :

Mexico

The notice amending the List has been gazetted on 23 January 2009. The updated list of specified countries or places is at Annex (pdf format ) for information.
