Commercial Information Circular No. 205/2024

European Union (EU)* : Amendment to Directive on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE)

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 580/2018 of 19 June 2018, the European Commission has adopted a Directive which was published on 19 March 2024 to amend Directive 2012/19/EU on waste electrical and electronic equipment in relation to treatment of waste from photovoltaic panels and of waste from open-scope electrical and electronic equipment. It will enter into force on 8 April 2024.
