United Kingdom (UK) : Result of transition review of the anti-dumping measure on imports of certain aluminium road wheels originating in the Mainland of China
The UK Government published a notice 2023/26 on 14 December 2023 to vary the definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of certain aluminium road wheels originating in the Mainland of China following the transition review. 2.Salient points of the notice are set out below -
(a) Product | : | Aluminium road wheels machined from a forged blank or assembled from multiple pieces, or machined parts of aluminium road wheels, of aluminium; whether finished or unfinished, whether or not with their accessories and whether or not fitted with tyres, currently falling under UK Global Tariff commodity codes 8708 70 10 15, 8708 70 10 50, 8708 70 50 15 and 8708 70 50 50, originating in the Mainland of China |
(b) Rate of duty | : | 22.3% of the net, free-at-the-frontier price, before other amounts of import duty |
(c) Effective date | : | 26 January 2022 |
3.The definitive anti-dumping on all other aluminium road wheels imported under the commodity codes, typically defined as cast aluminium road wheels, are revoked from 26 January 2022.
4.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact ZHENG Jingmin, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 9797. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
