Commercial Information Circular No. 537/2023

United Kingdom (UK) : Indefinite extension of continued recognition of the European Union (EU)'s CE marking

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 939/2022 of 30 November 2022, the UK Government announced on 1 August 2023 that it will continue to recognise the EU's CE marking indefinitely beyond the deadline of 31 December 2024 previously set, allowing businesses to use either UKCA or CE markings.
