United Kingdom (UK) : Result of reconsideration of an original decision in the transition review of the anti-dumping measure on imports of certain welded tubes and pipes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China
The UK Government published a notice 2023/09 on 29 June 2023 to include galvanised tubes to its anti-dumping measure on imports of certain welded tubes and pipes of iron or non-alloy steel originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China following the reconsideration. 2.Salient points of the notice are set out below -
| (a) Product | : | Welded tubes and pipes, of circular cross-section, of iron or non-alloy steel, and of an external diameter not exceeding 168.3 mm, excluding line pipe of a kind used for oil or gas pipelines; casing and tubing of a kind used in drilling for oil or gas; precision tubes; and tubes and pipes with attached fittings suitable for conducting gases or liquids for use in civil aircraft, currently falling under UK Global Tariff commodity codes 7306304120, 7306304920, 7306307780 and 7306307280, originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China |
| (b) Rate of duty | : | 90.6% of the net, free-at-the-frontier price, before other amounts of import duty |
| (c) Effective date | : | 30 January 2021 |
