United Kingdom (UK) : Initiation of a transition review of the anti-dumping measure on imports of certain ceramic tile products originating in the Mainland of China

The UK Government published a notice on 22 September 2022 initiating a transition review of the anti-dumping measure on imports of certain ceramic tile products originating in the Mainland of China. The notice is available at: https://www.trade-remedies.service.gov.uk/public/case/TD0027/submission/21238f19-ee5a-4ee9-874c-ec0ff622cd58/.

2.The product under review is glazed and unglazed ceramic flags and paving, hearth or wall tiles; glazed and unglazed ceramic mosaic cubes and the like, whether or not on a backing, currently falling under UK Global Tariff commodity codes 6907 2100 00, 6907 2200 00, 6907 2300 00, 6907 3000 00 and 6907 4000 00. All interested parties may register their interest in the review by 7 October 2022 via the Trade Remedies Service at: https://www.trade-remedies.service.gov.uk/. They may submit comments on any issues relevant to the review and request a hearing through the Trade Remedies Service.

3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact GONG Zhihong, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 6201. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
