European Union (EU)* : Impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes of stainless steel originating in the Mainland of China

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 328/2018 of 6 April 2018, the European Commission published a notice 2022/C 241/10 on 24 June 2022 concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of certain seamless pipes and tubes of stainless steel originating in the Mainland of China. 2.The product concerned is certain seamless pipes and tubes of stainless steel (excluding such pipes and tubes with attached fittings suitable for conducting gases or liquids for use in civil aircraft), currently falling within CN codes 7304 11 00, 7304 22 00, 7304 24 00, ex 7304 41 00, 7304 49 10, ex 7304 49 93, ex 7304 49 95, ex 7304 49 99 and ex 7304 90 00 (TARIC codes 7304 41 00 90, 7304 49 93 90, 7304 49 95 90, 7304 49 99 90 and 7304 90 00 91). Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in the notice, the anti-dumping measures will expire at midnight of 7 March 2023.

3.Definitive anti-dumping duties on imports of the product originating in the Mainland of China have been imposed since 21 December 2011. The current rate of anti-dumping duty is 71.9% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for a number of companies with individual duty rates from 48.3% to 56.9%).
