Commercial Information Circular No. 379/2022

European Union (EU)* : Initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding on imports of stainless steel refillable kegs originating in the Mainland of China

The European Commission published a notice 2022/C 195/07 on 13 May 2022 announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of stainless steel refillable kegs originating in the Mainland of China. 2.The product under investigation is kegs, vessels, drums, tanks, casks and similar containers, refillable, of stainless steel, commonly known as 'refillable stainless steel kegs', with bodies approximately cylindrical in shape, with a wall thickness of 0.5 mm or more, of a kind used for material other than liquefied gas, crude oil, and petroleum products, of a capacity of 4.5 litres or more, regardless of the type of finish, gauge, or stainless steel grade, whether or not with additional components (extractors, necks, chimes or any other component), whether or not painted or coated with other materials, currently classified under CN codes ex 7310 10 00 and ex 7310 29 90 (TARIC codes 7310 10 00 10 and 7310 29 90 10). The following products do not fall under the scope of this investigation: necks, spears, couplers or taps, collars, valves and other components imported separately from the product under investigation. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
