Commercial Information Circular No. 316/2022

European Union (EU)* : Termination of the "new exporter" reviews of the anti-dumping measures on imports of trichloroisocyanuric acid originating in the Mainland of China

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 532/2021 of 26 July 2021, the European Commission published an Implementing Regulation (EU) 2022/619 on 13 April 2022 to terminate the "new exporter" reviews of the anti-dumping measures on imports of trichloroisocyanuric acid originating in the Mainland of China. 2.Salient points of the regulation are set out below -

(a) Applicants :
  • Hebei Xingfei Chemical Co., Ltd
  • Inner Mongolia Likang Bio-Tech Co., Ltd
  • Shandong Lantian Disinfection Technology Co., Ltd
(b) Product : Trichloroisocyanuric acid and preparations thereof, also referred to as 'symclosene' under the international non-proprietary name (INN), currently falling under CN codes ex 2933 69 80 and ex 3808 94 20 (TARIC codes 2933 69 80 70 and 3808 94 20 20), originating in the Mainland of China
(c) Rate of duty : 42.6% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty applicable to imports manufactured by the applicants
(d) Effective date : 14 April 2022

3.The above anti-dumping duty is hereby levied with effect from 24 July 2021 on the products which were registered since initiation of the reviews. The registration of imports of the concerned product manufactured by the applicants is ceased.
