Commercial Information Circular No. 665/2021

European Union (EU)* : Initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding on imports of electrolytic chromium coated steel (ECCS) products originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China

The European Commission published a notice 2021/C 387/02 on 24 September 2021 announcing the initiation of an anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of ECCS products originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China. The notice is available at:

2.The product under investigation is flat-rolled products of iron or non-alloy steel, plated or coated with chromium oxides or with chromium and chromium oxides, currently classified under CN codes 7210 50 00 and 7212 50 20. For further details of the proceeding of this investigation, please refer to the above notice.

3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact GONG Zhihong, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 6201. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
