Commercial Information Circular No. 435/2021

European Union (EU)* : Initiation of an expiry review of the anti-dumping measures on certain molybdenum wires originating in the Mainland of China

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 747/2020 of 14 October 2020, the European Commission published a notice 2021/C 251/09 on 28 June 2021 announcing the initiation of an expiry review of the anti-dumping measures concerning imports of certain molybdenum wires originating in the Mainland of China. The notice is available at:

2.The product under review is molybdenum wire, containing by weight at least 99.95% of molybdenum, of which the maximum cross-sectional dimension exceeds 1.35mm but does not exceed 4.0mm, currently falling within CN code ex 8102 96 00 (TARIC codes 8102 96 00 11 and 8102 96 00 19). For details of the proceeding of this review, please refer to the above notice.

3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact GONG Zhihong, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 6201. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
