Commercial Information Circular No. 351/2020

European Union (EU)* : Amendment to the notice of initiation concerning a review of the safeguard measures applicable to imports of certain steel products

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 170/2020 dated 3 March 2020, the European Commission published a corrigendum to the notice of initiation concerning the second review of the safeguard measures applicable to imports of certain steel products.

2.In gist, the European Commission amended the Annex to the notice 2020/C 51/11 by including the product category "other welded pipes" (product number: 26) in the list of product categories subject to definitive safeguard measures. 3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact Li Xuefei, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 8620 3881 6201. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to safeguard measures against products from the province.
