Commercial Information Circular No. 137/2020

European Union (EU)* : Results of expiry review of anti-dumping measures on peroxosulphates (persulphates) originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 739/2019 of 11 October 2019, the European Commission published an implementing regulation (EU) 2020/39 imposing a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of peroxosulphates (persulphates) originating in the Mainland of China following the expiry review. 2.Salient points of the regulation are set out below –

(a) Product : Peroxosulphates (persulphates), including potassium peroxymonosulphate sulphate, currently falling under CN codes 2833 40 00 and ex 2842 90 80 (TARIC code 2842 90 80 20)
(b) Rate of Duty : 71.8% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, before duty
(except for two companies with individual duty rates from 0% to 24.5%)
(c) Effective Date : 18 January 2020
(d) Duration : 5 years

The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
