Commercial Information Circular No. 933/2019

European Union (EU)* : Initiation of an expiry review of the anti-dumping measures on sulphanilic acid originating in the Mainland of China

Further to the Commercial Information Circular No. 298/2019 of 18 April 2019, the European Commission published a notice 2019/C 425/09 on 18 December 2019 announcing the initiation of an expiry review of the anti-dumping measures concerning imports of sulphanilic acid originating in the Mainland of China.  The notice is available at:

2.The product subject to investigation is sulphanilic acid, currently falling under CN code ex 2921 42 00 (TARIC code 2921 42 00 60).  For further details of the proceeding of this review, please refer to the above notice.

3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact LI Xuefei, Director of Trade Remedy and Industry Injury Investigation Division under the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 86 20 3881 6201.  The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
