Commercial Information Circular No. 751/2019

European Union (EU)* : Impending expiry of anti-dumping measures on certain PSC wires and strands originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 464/2015 of 8 June 2015, the European Commission has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of certain pre- and post-stressing wires and wire strands of non-alloy steel (PSC wires and strands) originating in the Mainland of China.  The notice is available at https://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:52019XC0926(01)&from=EN.

2.Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire at midnight of 6 June 2020.

3.Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the product originating in the Mainland of China has been imposed since 14 May 2009.  The current rate of anti-dumping duty is 46.2% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for a number of companies with individual duty rates ranging from 0% to 31.1%).
