Commercial Information Circular No. 59/2019

European Union (EU)* : Results of expiry review of anti-dumping measures on aluminium radiators originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 1110/2017 of 6 December 2017, the European Commission has published an implementing regulation to maintain the definitive anti dumping duty imposed on imports of aluminium radiators originating in the Mainland of China following the expiry review. 2.Salient points of the regulation are set out below -

(a) Product : Aluminium radiators and elements or sections of which such radiator is composed, whether or not such elements are assembled in blocks, excluding radiators and elements and sections thereof of the electrical type, currently falling within CN codes ex 7615 10 10, ex 7615 10 80, ex 7616 99 10 and ex 7616 99 90 (TARIC codes 7615 10 10 10, 7615 10 80 10, 7616 99 10 91, 7616 99 90 01 and 7616 99 90 91).
(b) Rate of Duty : 61.4% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, before duty (except for a number of companies whose individual duty rates range from 12.6% to 56.2%)
(c) Effective Date : 16 January 2019
(d) Duration : 5 years

3.For traders involved in the exports of the subject product from the Guangdong Province, please contact Li Xuefei, Director of Trade Remedy Division under the Fair Trade Bureau of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province, at 8620 3881 6201. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
