Commercial Information Circular No. 387/2019

European Union (EU)* : Initiation of review of safeguard measures on imports of certain steel products

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 104/2019 of 4 February 2019, the European Commission has published a notice initiating a review of the safeguard measures applicable to imports of certain steel products. 2.Interested parties are invited to make their views known, submit information and provide supporting evidence within 15 days from 17 May 2019. If necessary, a reasoned request for an intervention of the Hearing Officer, who reports directly to the Commissioner for Trade of the EU, may be made in writing. The review will be concluded before 30 September 2019 whenever possible.
