European Union (EU)* : Regulation on the Use of Bisphenol A (BPA) in Varnishes and Coatings Intended to Come into Contact Food and Amending Regulation on the Use of BPA in Plastic Food Contact Materials
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 254/2018 dated 14 March 2018, the European Commission has adopted a Commission Regulation (EU) 2018/213 to restrict the use of BPA in varnishes and coatings intended to come into contact food and to amend Regulation (EU) No. 10/2011 on the use of BPA in plastic food contact materials.
