Dear Sirs,

Commercial Information Circular No. 246/2018

European Union (EU)* : Results of "new exporter" review of anti-dumping measures on bicycles originating in Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 362/2017 of 10 May 2017 concerning the initiation of a review, limited to Look Design System SA, an exporting producer of bicycles in Tunisia, of the extension of the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of bicycles originating in the Mainland of China to imports of bicycles consigned from Indonesia, Malaysia, Sri Lanka and Tunisia, whether declared as originating in these economies or not, the European Commission (the Commission) has published an implementing regulation to amend the Council regulation. The implementing regulation and a subsequent corrigendum are available at :
http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32018R0049&from=EN and
http://eur-lex.europa.eu/legal-content/EN/TXT/PDF/?uri=CELEX:32018R0049R(01)&from=EN.

2.Following the "new exporter" review, the Commission concluded that Look Design System SA is a genuine producer of bicycles, not related to any producer of bicycles in the Mainland of China, and decided to exempt the company from the extended measures.

3.For enquiries concerning the content of this circular, please contact the undersigned at telephone number 2398 5684.

Yours faithfully,

(Manus LUI)
