European Union (EU)* : Results of expiry review of the anti-dumping measures on imports of barium carbonate originating in the Mainland of China
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 695/2016 of 25 August 2016, the European Commission has published an implementing regulation to maintain the definitive anti‑dumping duty imposed on imports of barium carbonate originating in the Mainland of China following the expiry review. The regulation is available at:

2.Salient points of the regulation are set out below -
| (a) Product | : | Barium carbonate with a strontium content of more than 0.07% by weight and a sulphur content of more than 0.0015% by weight, whether in powder, pressed granular or calcined granular form, currently falling within CN code ex 2836 60 00 (TARIC code 2836 60 00 10) |
| (b) Rate of Duty | : | EUR 56.4 per tonne (except for two companies whose individual duty rates are EUR 6.3 per tonne and EUR 8.1 per tonne) |
| (c) Effective Date | : | 29 September 2017 |
| (d) Duration | : | 5 years |

The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in Guangdong Province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
