Commercial Information Circular No. 949/2016

European Union (EU)* : Impending expiry of anti-dumping measures on imports of lever arch mechanisms originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 700/2012 of 4 September 2012, the European Commission has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of lever arch mechanisms (the product) originating in the Mainland of China.  The notice is available at:

2.Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire at midnight of 5 September 2017.

3.Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of the product originating in the Mainland of China has been imposed since 28 July 2006 at a rate of 47.4% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty (except for one company whose individual duty rate is 27.1%).  As a result of a previous expiry review, the duty has been maintained for another five years with effect from 5 September 2012.
