Commercial Information Circular No. 590/2016

European Union (EU) * : Imposition of definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of sodium cyclamate originating in the Mainland of China and produced by two Chinese exporting producers

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 778/2015 of 13 August 2015, the European Commission (the Commission) has published an implementing regulation to impose a definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of sodium cyclamate originating in the Mainland of China and produced by Fang Da Food Additive (Shen Zhen) Limited and Fang Da Food Additive (Yang Quan) Limited. The regulation is available at:

2.Salient points of the regulation are set out below-

(a) Product
 
: Sodium cyclamate, currently falling within CN code ex 2929 90 00 (TARIC code 2929 90 00 10)
(b) Rate of Duty :
EUR 1.17 per kg
(c) Effective Date : 17 July 2016
(d) Duration : 5 years

3.For traders involved in the exports of the product from the Guangdong Province, please contact Yue Yang, Director of Trade Remedy Division under the Fair Trade Bureau of the Department of Commerce of Guangdong Province at 8620 3881 9083. The Division is responsible for, among others, guiding and coordinating enterprises in the province in responding to anti-dumping investigations against products from the province.
