Commercial Information Circular No. 552/2016

European Union (EU) * : Results of an expiry review and a partial interim review of the anti-dumping measures on imports of silicon originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 876/2015 of 2 September 2015, the European Commission has published an implementing regulation to maintain the definitive anti-dumping duty imposed on imports of silicon originating in the Mainland of China following an expiry review and a partial interim review. The implementing regulation is available at :

2.Salient points of the regulation are set out below-

(a) Product : Silicon, currently falling within CN code 2804 69 00
(b) Rate of Duty :
16.8% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price, before duty (except for one company whose duty rate is 16.3%)
(c) Effective Date :
6 July 2016
(d) Duration : 5 years
