European Union (EU)* : Withdrawal of the acceptance of the undertaking for two exporting producers offered in connection with the anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of citric acid originating in the Mainland of China
Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 89/2015 of 23 January 2015, the European Commission (the Commission) has published an implementing regulation to withdraw the acceptance of the undertaking offered in connection with the anti-dumping proceeding concerning imports of citric acid originating in the Mainland of China. 3. The implementing regulation entered into force on 13 May 2016.
BACKGROUND
5. Consequent to an expiry review and some partial interim reviews, the anti-dumping duty has been maintained for another five years with effect from 23 January 2015. From 16 January 2016 the duty has been extended to imports consigned from Malaysia, regardless of whether they are declared as originating in Malaysia or not, following a circumvention investigation.
