European Union (EU) * : Union Customs Code

Further to our Commercial Information Circular No. 206/2015 of 18 March 2015, the European Commission has adopted Regulations to supplement and lay down detailed rules concerning certain provisions of the Union Customs Code. Details are set out in the Commission Delegated Regulation (EU) 2015/2446 and Commission Implementing Regulation (EU) 2015/2447 respectively, which can be accessed through the following links:

DETAILS

2.Regulation (EU) No. 952/2013 established the Union Customs Code and laid down the general rules and procedures applicable to goods brought into or out of the customs territory of the Union. The new Regulations supplement and lay down detailed rules for implementing certain provisions of the Regulation (EU) No. 952/2013. The new Regulations will apply from 1 May 2016.
