Further to Commercial Information Circulars No. 558/2010 of 2 December 2010 and No. 546/2011 of 12 September 2011, the European Commission (the Commission) has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of high tenacity yarn of polyesters originating in the Mainland of China. The notice (in English only) can be accessed through the following link:

DETAILS

2.Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of high tenacity yarn of polyesters originating in the Mainland of China has been imposed since 2 December 2010. Except for 12 companies with individual duty rates ranging from 0% to 9.8%, the duty rate is set at 9.8% of the net, free-at-Union-frontier price before duty.

3.The anti-dumping duty will expire on 2 December 2015 unless EU producers lodge written request for reviewing the anti-dumping measures no later than three months before the date of expiry. The written request must contain sufficient evidence that the expiry of the measures would likely result in a continuation or recurrence of dumping and injury.
