European Union (EU)* : Impending Expiry of Anti-dumping Measures on Imports of Polyethylene Terephthalate Originating in the Mainland of China

Further to Commercial Information Circular No. 532/2010 of 18 November 2010, the European Commission has published a notice concerning the impending expiry of the anti-dumping measures on imports of polyethylene terephthalate originating in the Mainland of China. DETAILS

2.Definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of polyethylene terephthalate originating in, inter alia, the Mainland of China has been imposed since 20 August 2004. Following an expiry review initiated in 2009, the definitive anti-dumping duty on polyethylene terephthalate originating in the Mainland of China has been maintained with effect from 18 November 2010 and the duty in force is EUR 184 per tonne (except for nine companies whose individual duty rates ranging from EUR 0 to EUR 184 per tonne).

3.Unless a review is initiated in accordance with the procedure set out in section 2 of the notice, the anti-dumping duty will expire at mid-night of 18 November 2015.
