European Union (EU) * : Classification of Certain Goods in the Combined Nomenclature (CN)

The European Commission has adopted ten Regulations concerning the classification of certain goods in its commodity classification system, the Combined Nomenclature (CN).  The Regulations stipulate the CN classification of draught excluders; photo books; coin vibration motors; Photovoltaic (PV) junction boxes; electronic money boxes; free arm sewing machines of the household type with built-in electric motor; arm sleeves for smartphone; adapters; rolls of shiny woven transparent fabric with machine embroidered decoration; as well as cassettes of base metal sprocket wheels without free-wheel mechanism to ensure uniform application of the CN by Member States' customs authorities.  Details are set out in the Commission Implementing Regulations (EU) 2015/2253, 2015/2254, 2015/2255, 2015/2315, 2015/2316, 2015/2317, 2015/2318, 2015/2319, 2015/2320 and 2015/2321 respectively, which can be accessed through the following links:
